Dream meaning Dreaming of a garden

A garden in a dream holds a person's religion and good deeds, their household and marriage, and their provision; a garden in bloom is a sign of the Garden promised to the faithful. Walking in a green garden with running water is faith, good works and ease; for a single person it is a marriage, and for a married person a household in blessing.

A garden with fruit is provision and the reward of effort, and picking the fruit is gaining what was worked for. A neglected garden, dry or choked with weeds, is a religion or a household neglected, or a provision that needs tending again; tending it back to life is repentance and repair.

Being barred from a garden, or finding its gate locked, is a good not yet reached, and the dream counsels the deeds that open it; finding a door in the wall is an opening coming. A walled garden is protection and a household kept. A garden destroyed by fire or flood is a trial reaching the household or the provision.

The Qur'an tells of the owners of a garden who resolved to harvest without giving the poor their share and found it burned by morning, so a garden struck in the night is also a warning about withheld charity, and the answer to it is to give.
