Dream meaning Dreaming of a broken phone

A phone in a dream belongs with letters and messengers, since it carries news and holds people's ties together, and a broken phone is news cut off and a tie strained.

A phone that will not call out is a word the dreamer needs to say but cannot yet deliver, such as an apology, a request or a truth, and the dream counsels saying it in person; calling someone who does not answer is a matter awaiting their reply, or a bond that needs a visit rather than a message.

A cracked screen is a matter seen in a distorted way, to be looked at again before judging; a dead battery is strength or means exhausted, and recharging it is rest before trying again. A phone that is stolen is a secret or a private matter taken out of the dreamer's hands, and it counsels guarding what is kept on it; losing a phone is losing contact with someone, or with information that matters.

A phone ringing that the dreamer does not answer is a call being ignored: a duty, a family matter, or the call to prayer. A call from an unknown number is news from an unexpected quarter. A call from someone who has died is read like every visit from the dead: the departed speak truly, and their request for a prayer, a charity or a debt settled is to be answered.

A clear conversation with a loved one far away is good news from them, or a reunion drawing near. Throwing a phone away is choosing to cut a tie or a source of distraction, and the dream asks whether that tie should be cut.

The Prophet said that whoever wishes to have his provision widened and his life lengthened should keep his ties of kinship, so a dream of broken lines is often a call to reach the people one has let fall silent.
