Guidance held with care, insight without haste

Dream meaning Dreaming of being crowned

A coronation in a dream is the moment authority is conferred: the crown lowered, the assembly watching, a life changing its status in front of witnesses. Where a throne is power held, a coronation is power received, with the question every crowned person must answer: who gave it, and for what?

The interpreters read a crown placed on a man's head as rank, leadership or honour, and on a woman's head as a husband of standing or a blessed marriage; a crown of pearls or of light is knowledge and religious dignity.

A tradition of the Prophet says that the parents of one who learns the Qur'an and lives by it will be crowned on the Day of Resurrection with a crown brighter than the sun, so a coronation in a dream also announces honour earned through faith and service. Being crowned calmly is a responsibility coming that you can carry; a crown too heavy or too large is a role you will grow into.

Crowning yourself, as Napoleon did in Notre-Dame, warns against claiming a place before others have recognised it. A crown slipping or falling is a position that needs humility to keep, and crowning someone else is honour you will give another.
