Dream meaning Dreaming of a revolution

A revolution dream fills the streets: crowds rising, statues falling, old orders collapsing overnight, the exhilaration and fear of everything changing at once. Such dreams are about upheaval in the order that governs your own affairs, a family or a workplace, and sometimes in the wider world around you. The traditions place outer change after inner change.

The Qur'an says, "God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves," and it tells of Abraham breaking the idols of his people so that they would ask what they had been worshipping. The interpreters call turmoil among people in a dream fitna, a trial that tests faith and conduct.

Leading the uprising is a change you will have a hand in, and the dream asks that it be just; watching from a window is change around you from which you are wise to keep your distance. Violence in the dream is a trial in which anger destroys what it meant to repair; a peaceful gathering with shared songs is renewal carried by people together.

Seeing a tyrant fall is oppression ending, and rebuilding afterward is the sign that the change will last. When the dream shows fitna, keep to your prayer.
