Dream meaning Dreaming of being poisoned

Poison in a dream is harm that works invisibly: a drink that looks like any other, a dish offered with a smile, words that keep burning long after they were spoken.

The interpreters did not read it on its surface: being poisoned in a dream is, in their reading, wealth coming to the dreamer, and surviving the poison is keeping that wealth; tasting poison and spitting it out is refusing a gain, or a harm recognised in time.
