Guidance held with care, insight without haste

Dream meaning Dreaming of luggage

Luggage in a dream is everything you have decided to carry: clothes for a life elsewhere, papers, gifts, and the things you could never quite leave behind. It belongs to travel, so it appears when you are moving between homes, jobs, relationships or stages of faith, and it asks what is worth taking with you.

Heavy loads are burdens of worry, debt or wrongdoing, and light, well-packed bags are provision for a good road; the Qur'an's principle that no soul bears another's burden stands behind many of these readings. A suitcase too heavy to lift is a debt or a worry that needs setting down. Lost luggage frightens, yet it is also release: a weight taken from you before you would have set it down yourself.

Someone else's suitcase in your hands is another person's trouble you have agreed to carry, with its reward. Packing in a hurry is a change arriving faster than you expected, and unpacking slowly in a new room is settling. Notice what was inside, if the dream let you look: a single object often names the burden or the treasure.

Bags that weighed you down are answered with the Prophet's own prayer for refuge from worry and debt.
