Dream meaning Dreaming of honey

Honey in a dream is lawful provision gained with ease, sweetness in faith and in the Qur'an, and a benefit that does good to those who share it. The Qur'an says of the bee that from its belly comes a drink of varying colours in which there is healing for people, and the interpreters carry that blessing into the dream.

Eating honey is provision that comes cleanly, a sweetness in one's affairs, or the taste of worship; eating it with bread is a good livelihood; licking it from one's fingers is knowledge or a portion of the Qur'an gained.

A man once told the Prophet that he had seen a cloud dripping ghee and honey while people took from it, some much and some little, and Abu Bakr read it: the cloud was Islam, the honey was the Qur'an and its sweetness, and the people were those who take from it more or less.

A jar full of honey is wealth stored in blessing; honey spilled or spoiled is provision lost through carelessness, or a sweetness that has turned; honey mixed with something bitter is a benefit that carries its trial. Gathering honey from a hive is profit earned through effort among people, and being stung while gathering it is the price that work asks.

Bees bringing honey to the house are good people and provision coming to it. Giving honey to others is speaking sweetly and doing good that is remembered.
