Dream meaning Dreaming of a tree

A tree in a dream is a person, man or woman, or a whole family or household, and its kind and condition say who and how. A green, fruiting tree is a generous, useful person or a household in blessing; the Qur'an likens a good word to a good tree whose roots are firm and whose branches reach the sky, giving its fruit in every season.

A dry or withered tree is a person or a matter whose benefit has faded, or a worry in a family; a tree cut down is a loss of support or the end of a matter, and never an announcement of a death. Planting a tree is a good work that lasts, a child or a provision growing; sitting in a tree's shade is protection or benefit from a person of standing.

Climbing a tree is rising in standing or reaching a person of rank, and falling from it is losing that position. A palm tree is a person of faith and generosity, and its dates are lawful provision; an olive tree is blessing and knowledge; a thorny tree, a person hard to deal with. Many trees together are a community, and a forest is a gathering of people whose intentions are not all visible.
