Dream meaning Dreaming of a fountain

A fountain in a dream is water made generous: it rises, falls back and rises again, offered to anyone who passes. Where a well hides its water and a river carries it away, the fountain displays it, which is why the image so often belongs to joy, renewal and shared blessing.

Islamic tradition gives flowing water a place in paradise, where the Qur'an names a spring called Salsabil, and the courtyard gardens of Andalusia and Persia set a fountain at their heart as a reminder of that promised water. The condition of the water carries the reading. A clear fountain in full flow is a season of blessing, ease and affection that keeps renewing itself.

Drinking from it is refreshment and provision; washing your face in it is a worry rinsed away. A dry fountain is a source that needs tending, such as a prayer or a friendship left without attention, and a fountain spilling over its basin is blessing that overflows, to be given from.

Notice whether you stood at the fountain alone or among people, because a public fountain in a dream often concerns what you give to a community.
